Off with his head!

Not gonna do a OMG JEREMY LIN post, since y’all probably had enough of that already. Already knew he was a baller when he shut down John Wall in the summer league and picked him up on my fantasy team after his breakout game WITHOUT doing the usual 1 game wait.

On to the Lakers….

Unbelievable.

While I’m used to seeing them not being able to guard a point guard in the last 3 million years, tonight was pretty horrible.

I blame Mike Brown.

What are you doing with the best player in the entire world, arguably the best center in the league, and a versatile power foward in Gasol?

What happened to becoming a better defensive team? Isn’t that why you got hired over running the other coaches and running the triangle again with Brian Shaw? Being a better defensive team does not equal losing to a Melo/Amare-less Knicks team. AND we get wrecked by a point guard even while playing decent defense on him, like most games.

While I understand we aren’t getting any offensive help (or any help) from our bench, some major changes need to be made.

Mike Brown MUST find a way to solve the pg defense. We aren’t even going to come close to winning a championship. Look at 4pgs out of the 8 top spots in the West: OKC: westbrook, LAC: Williams/Paul, SAS: Paker, Hou: Lowry and you can make the argument for Andre Miller and Ty Lawson.

Edit: While I’m bashing on poor MB, Barnes and Artest need to be coached. I don’t think PJ would have allowed any of the crap they’re pulling to go down.
